How it works
Dollar-cost averaging means buying a fixed amount on a regular schedule. Pick a coin (Bitcoin by default, or Ethereum, Solana and others), how much, how often, and over what period; the tool replays that coin's real price history over the window and values everything at the latest price. The number of buys is derived from the period and frequency.

Frequently asked questions
What is dollar-cost averaging (DCA)?
Buying a fixed dollar amount on a regular schedule (e.g. $100 weekly) regardless of price, which smooths out volatility over time.
How does the DCA backtest work?
It replays real historical prices over your chosen period and frequency, summing every buy to show how many coins you'd hold and what they're worth today.
Can I DCA into coins other than Bitcoin?
Yes — pick Bitcoin (default), Ethereum, Solana or another major coin, and the calculator backtests that coin's real price history.
